How to reach Kedarkantha Trek

How to reach Kedarkantha this is the question most of the people asked so in this blog, I’ll tell you how to reach kedarkantha and take you on a virtual journey through the Kedarkantha trek with all my experience. Kedarkantha trek is a paradise for trekkers and adventure enthusiasts. with its awe-inspiring landscapes, pristine wilderness, and the opportunity to witness the raw beauty of the Himalayas, this trek has become a favorite among both beginners and seasoned trekkers.

The Kedarkantha trek starts from Sankri village which is almost 220 km from Dehradun. There are many hotels, homestay & campsites available to stay at night but here is no ATM, no petrol pump and no wine shops and carry enough warm clothes with you for the trek and anyhow if you forget then you can get on rent here. Most important don’t go without advance booking otherwise you’ll face many problems during the trek.

Day 1 – Kedarkantha trek starts from sankri to Juda ka Talab. Wake up, have breakfast, pack all your necessary stuff and left all the unnecessary things at sankri and start your trek towards Juda ka Talab on this day, You have to cross between dense forest in this day. After reaching Juda ka Talab have some rest and enjoy the vibe of the place, later dinner then sleep.

My Experience

Mine kedarkantha experience was great, this was my first winter trek and I experienced a lot like: walking in snow, camping on the snow, first time seen frozen lake, first time trek in the dark on almost -10 to -15 temperature and much more.

The Kedarkantha trek is a thrilling adventure that will leave you with memories to cherish for a lifetime. But only if you choose right company because on that much high altitude, it is not easy to carry everything by your own, have to book with any company. If the staff not supportive, guide was not responsible during the trek then your all over trip will be spoiled. So choose the right company for you or you can click the link below for having the great team with you in a very affordable price.
